Surface preparation can be used to NACE 1-3 (SSPC SP 5- 6) when applicable. On the dry prepared surface, an initial tack coat is recommended of 200 to 250 microns, which is prepared by adding up to 50% water with Winone Thermoshield, and applying the same on the surface. After application, allow the coating to dry for a period of 4 hours. On drying, apply the successive coats of Winone Thermoshield, perpendicular to the previous coat, in average thickness of 500 microns with an overcoat interval of 4 to 5 hours, till the desired thickness of coating is achieved. EThe coating can be optionally reinforced with a 35 to 40 gsm geotextile fabric to provide reinforcement in the coating layer.
