Product Description: SS 185 is a high performance coating designed to provide protection to stainless steel. It air dries fast on application to leave a coating with stainless steel 316L pigments. It is a single component ready to use protective film. SS 185 does not contain any chlorinated solvents, CFCs or ozone depleting chemicals. Applications: Effective for industrial, mining, construction equipment piping, storage tanks, structural steels, welding seams on stainless steel. Benefits: SS 185 is a specially designed coating containing stainless steel pigment to provide maximum corrosion resistance and protection against weather, sunlight, oil and water. Provides a long lasting durable film of 100% pure SS 316L pigments. Excellent outdoor durability. Fast air drying and adheres well to surfaces. Single component coating with a satin sheen finish and luster look of stainless steel. Offers long lasting corrosion protection. Does not contain any lead. Directions for Use: Clean and degrease the surface prior to application. Remove all rust and loose scales by wire brush. Shake can well for a couple of minutes till bearing noise from inside the can is audible. Repeat the same before every application. Spray light, even coats with sweeping action of the hand onto completely dry surface. Allow solvents to completely evaporate before re-application. Drying time to touch is about 10-15 minutes, to handle is about one hour and for complete cure is about 24 hours. Flush away paint products or product residues in the dip tube of the valve by cleaning it. Cleaning of the valve should be performed after spraying is finished, by inverting the can and pressing the actuator button in short bursts till only the propellant comes out. If required, to prevent clogging, remove the actuator button and clean the button orifice with a thin, fine wire.
