Preparation of Seedless Imli in bulk packing is a seasonal operation undertaken by house-holds in many villages in the Tamarind growing States in India. This seasonal and local operations involve collecting the ripe Tamarind Fruit and carefully removing by hand the outer cuticles of the Tamarind Fruit, fibre and de-seeding the fruit using a light hammer.
