Shyam's Unattended Ground Sensor system is a remote surveillance system providing tactical information during long or short duration military, counter-insurgency and intelligence gathering operations. These fully autonomous surveillance sensors are comprised of day and night vision, infra-red, and seismic, magnetic, and acoustic sensors; RF and wire line communication; and a multi-mode remote communications gateway. The remote gateway provides a secure two-way, beyond line-of-sight, communication channel in mission critical situations. Shyam's unattended ground sensors are compact, low cost, low power, and robust, and are expected to last in the field for extended periods of time after deployment. They are capable of transmitting target information back to a remote operator. These devices can be used to perform various mission tasks including perimeter defense, border patrol and surveillance, target acquisition, and situation awareness.
