The Company, M/s. Sheko Industries was incorporated in the year 1962 under the leadership of dynamic and well versed in Hydraulic Tipping Systems, Shri N. M. Sheth. He was a pioneer in developing import substitute hydraulic spares with his first project completing successfully for the replacement spares for Telehoist, Edbro & Weston - U.K., and Miellers -Germany Tipping systems. All these Tipping Systems were fitted on Leyland, Bedford, Dodge and Mercedes Benz, etc. Trucks. This task was accomplished with the manufacturing unit set up at Rajkot, in the state of Gujarat (India). In the year 1965, an in-house foundry was started near the existing Rajkot manufacturing unit, for the manufacture of Diesel Engine spares and Road-Roller Spares.

In the year 1980, one more manufacturing unit was set up at Mumbai with the best of machinery available at that time. This unit manufactures replacement Hydraulic spares for Cylinders, Reciprocating Piston Pumps, Control valves, Power - Take off Units suitable for Tipping Systems equivalent to UT, Tata, Wipro & Hyva Tipping Units fitted on Leyland, and Tata trucks apart from large-scale Manufacturing of Industrial Filter Housings.
