Lakkad (Formerly known as Thakordas Shivlal Lakkad) established in the year 1944 in small town Surat by Late Mr. Thakordas Shivlal Lakkad in his own home with 3-4 indigenous machines, and in those days he runs machine by himself and sold laces in all over India.In 1975, Mr. Thakordas Shivlal Lakkad, bring his son Mr. Mahesh T. Lakkad at the age of 20 in family business after completion his graduation in family business, who works hard to grow business, he started export business with Asian countries in year 1998 and import latest machinery from Europe to increase and improve production capacity and quality of goods and set up modern factory.In the year 1998, Mr. Samir Lakkad completed his college education and joined business run by family since two generation under guidance of his father Mr. Mahesh T. Lakkad, in his young age he was very enthusiast to do something new, with his technical knowhow, innovative and creative mind he increased production capacity with latest machineries, expand factory, to expand export business he visited different countries worldwide, introduce opulent product in different foreign markets and starts exports globally.
